Vince Tarry
Vince Tarry is the Founder and CEO of Vince Tarry Studios and its affiliate, iClickSmiles, a school photography company. Vince grew up in the San Fransisco Bay Area. At age 8, Vince received a camera as a gift from his mom. It was at this time that Vince discovered he had a natural interest in, and an artistic ability for, photography. With a Nikon EM in hand, Vince would find himself capturing pictures of landscapes wherever he would go. As Vince grew, so did his ambitions. He often looked to the works of the well-known landscape photographer, Ansel Adams. Vince was inspired by the beauty of natural light, as well as black and white film photography. The great outdoors proved to be his muse.
Vince always knew that he wanted to make a career for himself in photography. After graduating from high school, Vince attended Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. Many alumni have gone on from Brooks to be the best in their fields. Vince Tarry received his Bachelors of Arts degree within 3 years.
Vince began his professional career working as an associate photographer, married his high school sweetheart and became the proud father of two children.
Three years after graduating college, Vince founded "Vince Tarry Photography" which later transformed into "Vince Tarry Studios". Vince also created an online school photography business, "iClickSmiles". Vince strives to be the best in his field and continually challenges himself, his associate photographers and his studio staff.
Vince Tarry Studios has been praised by, and seen in, many publications and received the Gold Medal status in 2008 from Bay Area Parent magazine. Vince is a member of the Professional Photographers of America and complies with their code of ethics.
