Jeffery Warren

Jeffery first started to display his natural artistic ability at the age of 8, when he received his first guitar as a birthday gift. He was writing his own music in his early teens, when his grandfather introduced him to Photography. Jeffery learned that he had a natural eye for creating great images through the camera as well as creating his own music. "Music and imagery are what I believe to be the greatest gifts in life."

Jeffery soon realized that photography gave him the ability to open his mind and live vicariously through the music world. By the age of 14, he started to really fall in love with photography. "I took my camera everywhere and took pictures of everything, from the dog to the beautiful sunsets on the coast where I grew up." Jeff found that he enjoyed photographing people the most. "People love to study other people and a good photographer really can tell a story with just one image".

He studied photography and film at the College of San Mateo. He had the great pleasure to study photography with Lyle Gomes, a national award winning and highly credited photographer. Professor Gomes was a great influence and helped Jeffery realize which direction to take his talent. Jeffery’s photography allowed him to travel the country and his photos went on to be published in many fashion and culture magazines. Jeffery is a member of WPPI (Wedding Professional Photographers International) and PPC (Professional Photographers of California). He’s constantly seeking further education in photography and digital media. This education not only allows him to improve and learn, but also gives him the skills to possibly teach others how to realize their vision. "One of the greatest things about photography is that I can do it for the rest of my life in some shape or form."

Jeffery began working with, and learning from, Vince Tarry in 2002. "This is where I learned to be a true professional wedding and portrait photographer". Jeffrey has become one of the busiest photographers around, photographing everything from children, family portraits and weddings to fashion and entertainment. "I love making images for people. It’s truly one of the most rewarding things I could think of. All the smiles and tears of joy let me know that I am on the right path in life and I wouldn’t want to do anything else!"
